Help us make Christmas count for local families
We’re delighted to be taking part again in The Big Give Christmas Challenge, running 1–8 December 2026.
The Christmas Challenge is a wonderful opportunity to help us reach even more families. Between midday on 1 December and midday on 8 December, your donation could be doubled, meaning your generosity can go twice as far in supporting local families.
We’ll share a link here to our campaign page closer to the time, so please keep an eye out and join us from 1–8 December. Every donation, whatever the size, will help us support local families when they need it most.
Home-Start Butser provides a service to a large area of East Hampshire, from Greatham in the North to Rowlands Castle in the South.See map of area we cover.
Being a parent, whatever your situation, can be very challenging, especially when children are young. Many parents feel exhausted and overwhelmed by the stresses of family life.
For some parents it’s a particular struggle because they are also coping with issues such as post-natal depression, their or their child’s illness or disability, isolation or multiple births.
That’s when parents need support and that’s when Home-Start Butser can help.
A carefully selected volunteer, who has parenting experience, can visit regularly and offer emotional and practical support. This friendly parent-to-parent support is a simple yet effective way of enabling families to get back on track.
Explore our website to learn more about our services and the different ways you can get involved, whether that’s becoming a Family Support Volunteer, fundraiser, ambassador, or Trustee.
