Support Us

Home-Start Butser was set up in 1998 by the local community to support families with young children.

With offices based in Petersfield, it serves a large area of East Hampshire.

If you feel you would like to help us in some way, there are the following opportunities..............

1)	Become a Volunteer
	Our Volunteers usually make a commitment to visit one of our families for 2 to 3 hours a week in their own home. See our section on Volunteers.
2)	Become a Trustee or Member
	The Management Committee comprises Trustees and Members who are elected annually at the AGM. The Committee is responsible for the running of Home-Start Butser.
3)	Become a Friend
	Our Friends' main purpose is to raise additional funds to support our work, including help with costs of training, publicity, family outings, parties and other events.
4)	Making a Financial Donation
	As a charity, we rely on grants and donations to support us in our work of helping families. Our thanks to all the organisations who are currently helping to fund us. We are also very grateful to all the individuals who give us their donations. If you wish to make a donation to help our work, you can download a form here. Just print it off, and fill in your details, and post it with your cheque made payable to "Home start Butser" to us at Home Start Butser, Winton House Centre, Petersfield, Hants, GU32 3JL

	5)	Payroll Giving
		Making a regular Donation through your pay packet is an easy way to give to Home Start Butser. For more information on this, click on the following Charities Aid Foundation website link............. www.cafonline.org and click on "Give as you Earn" With Give As You Earn – the UK’s largest payroll giving scheme – you can give directly from your pre-tax salary, so money that would normally go to the taxman goes to us at Home Start Butser instead. You just decide how much you want to give each month – it could be a couple of pounds, or hundreds – and who you want to give it to. Then your donation comes out of your pay packet before the taxman touches it.
